Engaging Facebook Followers with Diverse Content and Creativity

I've been reading up on how to get Dada Labs' Facebook Fans involved with our posts, polls, and contests—I have found a wealth of information from the likes of social media professionals to independent bloggers and everyone in between on how to engage users. The common responses were:
                1. Try ending statuses with a question.
                2. Add your own comments as needed to get the ball rolling.
                3. Add links, photos, videos, etc.
                4. Mix up the types of posts.
                5. Share quality, relevant content daily
Even though they are all seemingly effective ideas and I would love to perfect the art of "#5", coming up with relevant content is difficult since Dada Labs is a fairly new company and has limited products and services to talk about. Combining all this advice into one, I've decided that creating a standard set of posts in the form of "Themed Days" may be the answer to my problems. If our followers know what to expect and look forward to what I have to say, they will hopefully seek out Dada Labs without having to see it on their News Feed—becoming real Fans of Dada Labs and eventually consuming our products because they think about our company when looking for apps! This is all in theory of course; we shall see how it works!

Since I'm taking this idea and running with it, here is the game plan:

Monday“A Thought for Today,” just a little something to get your week started!

TuesdayWord of the day! Check in to get your dictionary on and expand your vocabulary.

Wednesday- Wacky Wednesday is crazy photo and video day! Submit your own photo or video and we will publish it on our page!

Thursday- Trivia Thursday! Each morning submit your answers to the trivia question and at the end of the day we will declare a winner!

Friday- Why are you happy today? Share something good that’s going on in your life! :)

Saturday- Shout out Saturday, we will shout out to a fan and recognize their support!

Sunday- Sunday Night Dinner, yum!
In anticipation for our grocery shopping list application, we will post a delicious recipe and a complete shopping list so you have everything you need to make your meal!

Starting Monday this will be blowing up Dada Labs' Facebook page and I cannot wait to see how it goes. If you have any suggestions or want to get in on the fun, become our fan and follow us on Twitter!

You know you want to!
